The Auxiliary, founded as the Ladies Auxiliary in 1914 to help veterans and their families, is the backbone of VFW volunteer efforts. The Ladies Auxiliary became the VFW Auxiliary on Aug. 21, 2015. Promoting patriotism and helping veterans in need are just two of the many ways that the Ladies Auxiliary serves our community. The Auxiliary also has volunteer programs directed at VA, state and community hospitals.
You are eligible to be a member of the VFW Auxiliary if you a wife, widow, mother, stepmother, grandmother, daughter, granddaughter, foster and step-daughters, sisters, half-sisters and foster and step-sisters or husband, widower, stepfather, grandfather, son, grandson, foster and stepsons, brothers, half-brothers and foster and step-brothers of a past or present Member of the Veterans of Foreign War. Membership applications are available at VFW Post 10066.
