As I stated in my first message in our August/September Newsletter, I
really believe in the "Three C's" -- Communication, Coordination, and
Cooperation. To carry this belief out I have implemented a Joint Post
Officers (JPO) Quorum that will meet every month on the Monday before
our General Meeting to discuss and plan activities and goals for our
Post. We now have five organizations -- as we have reinstated our Men's
Auxiliary -- meeting and utilizing our Post. In order to obtain the
potential of greatness this Post has to offer with its facilities and
its members, each organization and its members have to contribute.
Summer is
coming to and end and we our looking forward to the coming months as you
can tell by the upcoming activities we have planned on our Activity
Calendar. As a member of this Post you should participate in your Post.
"United We Stand, Divided We Fall".
Our "Oktoberfest" is a three
day event and is a combination Membership Drive and Fundraiser for UnMet
Needs Fund for our troops that need assistance. This will be Open to
the Public all three days to attend, so each of us members should
support this event to the fullest. Check our website, newsletter,
advertising fliers in the Post or ask our friendly bartenders about
upcoming events.
